Roadcruising Riffs: 1

It's the end of the season, nuff said.  Thought I would start a new installment featuring tunes I enjoy roadcruising to.  If you have any suggestions for tunes that keep you up on long slow nights, please share!

If you dig a little Slash, and I do, then you should enjoy this one off his newish solo album.

  1. When it comes to herping music, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Dire Straits. One late spring day in my youth I set out on an adventure in (my parents) POS Chevy Citation. The year was 1986, I think. I headed towards the Panamint Valley area, where radio reception is pretty much non-existent. But I did have Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms, on cassette. Money For Nothing, etc... I drove the Citation up several canyons it had no place going... Herpwise, I did flip a ground snake (Sonora) at one point, which remains the only live one I've ever seen.
